They thought that setting it as automatic is okay but it is not. Better check the publisher's format before submitting your manuscripts. Some publishers used calibri, which my publisher preferred to use and some used arial, verdana, courier and many more. But the most common style used traditionally is Time New Roman style. Other serif font styles are baskerville, bookman, cambria, garamond and many more. For the font style you need to use Times New Roman or any serif font style, which will give you a better look and easy to read texts. You may use it with the approval of your publisher once it is accepted. DO NOT use cool font style when submitting your manuscript. Manuscripts look professional using the standard style format. Do not set any styles yet with your titles and chapters or any subtitles so it will be easy for you to just highlight the documents and edit it after. ![]() ![]() Once it is ready, means you had it proofread, eliminated the errors, arranged the correct wordings and checked all spellings and grammars then you can follow the instructions below. That way you won't mix up the rest of the documents. In formatting, you need to make sure that you have completed the manuscript that you wanted to be formatted before proceeding.
